Argavand (Armenian: Արգավանդ, Dzhafarapat) is a town in the Ararat province of Armenia. It has been absorbed by modern day Yerevan and actually sits within the city limits. Located in the village is a Turkmen funerary monument built in the year 1413. The tower is one of the few Islamic monuments still intact in Armenia.
